CAREER SHOULD BE BY CHOICE AND NOT BY FORCE

Career is a long-term affair rather I would say that it is a life-long affair. It gives right opportunity to our hidden talent to grow and flourish. It affects nearly all aspects of our life be it our thinking, communication, life style, moral development,  emotional development,  spiritual development, intelligence among others. It becomes an integrated part of our life and is reflected in nearly all behavioral aspects.

In developing countries like India many a times the career is forced on the students at an early stage of their life. Even at a stage when they know nothing about their life and their potentials, the career is entrusted upon them either by their parents or by their close relatives or associates. Usually the career is entrusted upon them based on the spirit of rivalry – considering salary, power and other material gains.

When career is a lifelong affair it is the student who should get the maximum opportunity to select it from a wide range of choices. Apart from other careers,  career in civil services needs a sense of responsibility towards the nation is spirit of tolerance and optimism towards life. A leadership, communication and intelligence contribute to it as a vital force to gain and maintain a career in Civils and Judiciary services.
