DEMOCRACY, DEVELOPMENT AND CIVIL SERVICES

Democracy is – government by the people, for the people and with the people. The people both rich and poor are empowered by this instrument of democracy. In democracy the government is elected by the citizens, which takes care of the interests of people in all respects. It gets hold of all developmental works in a country.

We also can say that the development is given a direction by elected ones. The development becomes just development considering the principles of Justice by the element of democracy. The civil service of any country further shapes the expectations and aspirations of elected government. If this wing (executive) of the government is strong, honest and efficient, then development would be exponential.
