WORLD MILK DAY

Over the years the world has gained so much development in all affairs of life, be it weapons or IT technology. Still there are some nations which are reeling under the canvas of hunger and malnutrition.The crops which are sown are not capable of feeding the population of the world, owing to the strength of population and uneven distribution of wealth between the nations.

The milk is an animal product which can clench the thrust and hunger and hence can contribute towards the elimination of hunger. The government recognized this fact and contributed to upgrade ‘operation flood’ for creating and promoting new ways and means for producing milk and milk products. Today by the concerted efforts of Public-Private participation India is enjoying surplus milk and contributing to the GDP.
