The economic imbalances have made some sections of the world with abundant food and has left many areas with scare resources in terms of food among others. The unforgotten wars have further deepend the crisis.

Food strengthen and protects right to life which is a basic human right & also a fundamental right. This is the day to strengthen world food safety for the sake of humanity.
