MAHADEV GOVIND RANADE
Justice Mahadev Govind Ranade ( 18 January 1842–16 January 1901) :–
- A distinguished Indian scholar, social reformer , judge and author.
- One of the founding members of the Indian National Congress party.
- He was also a judge of the Bombay High Court, Maharashtra.
- Was accorded the title of Rao Bahadur.
- Established the Maharashtra Girls Education Society to start Huzurpaga, the oldest girls’ high school in India.
