PREVENTING TAX EVASION AND CIVIL SERVICES

Tax is an important aspect of all governments in the world, so as in India. It is through this revenue, collected through the taxes, that is utilized to carry out governmental expenses that includes paying of salaries to its employees and caring out other economic activities.

It is an irony of our country that people tend to evade taxes by involving into corrupt practices. With the coming of General Anti Tax Avoidance Rules (GAAR) the evasion of taxes has come to an end to maximum. But as a citizen we should be responsible to contribute to the maximum for the economic development of the country and civil services and the judiciary need to think extra about this developing gesture.
