TIME TO CONSIDER REFORMS IN THE SERVICE SECTOR BY THE GOVERNMENT

The sectoral consideration for the development of the country is of prime importance for the government. The government needs to formulate adequate policies in order to reform the services sector as services sector is being contributing maximally towards the growth of the economy. This sector is very wide and needs constant upliftment and upgradation in the form of skills and technology. The sector has a ‘perceptible impact’ as the service provider will be given mouth publicity by the consumers in it. The service providers need to be extra vigilant in it.

The sector is quite diverse in its components and the government is committed to make the sector flourish in terms of bringing research and development and technology enabled quality services to all.  The problem with the service sector is that it is not having any nodal agency to regulate the sector and the rules and regulations which are outdated have not yet taken away from the system. The reforms into this sector will definitely help India to grow and emerge as a superpower in terms of economy and defense. If right potential is searched and the commitment of the government is given the sector then definitely this sector will flourish and will give its due contribution for the welfare of all.
