ANACHRONISTIC LAWS SHOULD BE REPEALED TO MAKE EXECUTIVE AND JUDICIARY MORE EFFECTIVE

The laws are created by the parliament considering the then present conditions of the societies. The level of development – social, economical and technological is all reflected in a particular law. It gets affected with the new kinds of developments locally and globally.

The harrowing trend shown due to the advent of Covid – 19 for the last two years have given new opportunities to amend or weed out those clumsy laws which have become obsolete. The parliament took this initiatives but it has slackened. Are we waiting for a new virulent virus, which would bring new reforms in legislature, executive and judiciary?
