ENTRY INTO CIVIL SERVICES

It is world known fact that getting into civil services is not an easy task. It takes a lot of patience, hard work and foresightedness to crack all the three levels of civil services starting by preliminary exam, then mains exam and then subsequently interview.

All the three stages are part of the selection process but are having a very different outlook and requirements. To begin with the preliminary examination checks your factual knowledge and analytical knowledge about a particular segment of knowledge, which includes – history, economics,  geography,  polity and international relations and knowledge of English among others.

The mains examination is all about writing skills. Without command over one’s competence of language in which the aspirant has opted as a medium, the mains examination cannot be cracked. Interview is all about your personality test. All you need to do is to start preparation of all these three stages simultaneously and on regular basis.
